CTR Placental Biology Course 2012

Placental Biology Course - now closed for applications

The Centre for Trophoblast Research is running a training course in placental biology 1st-6th July 2012.  The course aims to provide background information and insight into contemporary areas of placental research, and is suitable for graduate students and post-doctoral research associates. It is designed to be complementary to the highly successful programme devised by Dr Anne Croy and colleagues at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, but the two are not interdependent.

The course fees are £1,450, which includes consumables, all meals, and accommodation in St John’s College.  The fee also includes attendance at the 2-day CTR Annual Trophoblast meeting on July 9th-10th 2012 (accommodation for the extra time spent in Cambridge is also included) but participation in this event is optional.

The course is restricted to a maximum of 12 participants, in order to allow personal tuition.

We will start selecting candidates in early May. If you are successful we will give you one week to accept or decline your place. The tight deadline is so that should you decide not to attend or you have not been able to secure funding to pay your course fees, we can quickly offer the place to someone else. The course fees are payable in full upon acceptance of our offer.
