The aim of Basia's PhD project was the regulation of insulin signalling during healthy and obese mouse pregnancy. This was a first study that used the hyperinsulinaemic-euglycaemic clamp technique in order to assess glucose-insulin dynamics in maternal and feto-placental tissues.

Currently, Basia has joined Erica Watson’s group.
