The Loke CTR was founded with generous support from Cambridge medical alumnus Professor Charlie Y. W. Loke. The University of Cambridge also supports the Centre by providing dedicated laboratory and administrative space in the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience.

Research into pregnancy and early development has historically been underfunded, despite the scale and significance of the challenges it addresses. Philanthropic funding enables us to pursue our research priorities and nurture the next generation of research leaders.
