The Loke CTR connects world-leading trophoblast-related research across Cambridge in the School of Biological Sciences (Departments of Pathology, Genetics, and Physiology, Development, and Neuroscience and Gurdon Institute), School of Clinical Medicine (Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology,Institute of Metabolic Science, Cambridge Institute for Therapeutic Immunology and Infectious Disease, and The Victor Phillip Dahdaleh Heart & Lung Research Institute) and affiliated institutes (LMB, Wellcome Sanger Institute, Babrahamand theCambridge Stem Cell Institute).
Our administrative base and shared laboratory facilities are housed in the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience.
We are also a founding member of Cambridge Reproduction Interdisciplinary Research Centre (IRC). The IRC acts as an umbrella for diverse groups working on reproduction at the University across the arts, humanities and social sciences, biology, technology and medicine.
