Centre for Trophoblast Research

Become a member of the Centre for Trophoblast Research!

Membership of the Centre for Trophoblast Research is open to all current researchers at the University of Cambridge and its affiliated institutions whose research aligns to our Grand Challenges. There are four categories of CTR membership, summarised here:

CTR Membership
Full members will be added to our online directory and all benefits of CTR membership, outlined below. To apply for membership, return a headshot and completed membership application form to ctradmin@pdn.cam.ac.uk

Early career researchers (including post doctoral fellows and graduate students) are invited to apply for full CTR membership. Membership is intended to recognize researchers who make outsize contributions to the CTR. It would be strongly encouraged for these members to contribute to CTR core activities, for example teaching at the Placental Biology Course, hosting CTR seminar speakers, contributing to the organisation of the Half Day Away or Journal Club, Chair sessions at the Away Day/Annual Meeting, join relevant organizing committees.

CTR Principal Investigators at the University of Cambridge at eligible to join the CTR on an invitation basis. CTR-funded PhD students and CTR-funded Next Generation Fellows are automatically full members of the CTR.
CTR Affiliate Membership
All researchers who work in the group of CTR PIs are automatically considered CTR affiliate members. This includes students (Undergraduate, MPhil, PhD), postdoctoral researchers, and technicians.

Affiliate members are invited to opt in to the CTR mailing list by subscribing through Sympa.

Group leaders working in a parallel field who are interested in collaborating with CTR researchers on projects that relate to our Grand Challenges should reach out to ctradmin@pdn.cam.ac.uk.
CTR Honorary Membership

Our former Next Generation Fellows, Scientific Advisory Board members, and PIs are invited to be lifetime honorary members of the CTR.
