I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Cambridge. My current research centers on the development of innovative organoid systems and the investigation of extravillous trophoblast (EVT) invasion at the maternal-fetal interface. This approach not only provides new insights into fundamental aspects of placental biology, but also offers translational opportunities for studying pregnancy complications, including preeclampsia and fetal growth restriction, where EVT invasion is often impaired.
My background in placental biology also includes maternal-fetal interactions, platelet involvement in early pregnancy, and flow-based culture models.
