Computational infrastructure
CTR member can access high performance computing infrastructure in 2 main ways:
- UIS HPC - high performance compute cluster maintained by UIS Research Computing Services.
- CTR-BFX server - standalone Ubuntu server maintained by CTR bioinformatics for use by the bioinformatics facility and CTR members who are comfortable in a command-line environment.
Commonly requested code
We publish templates for commonly requested analyses for CTR members to apply to their own data. Please note these are intended as a guide only - you will need to ensure the approach is suitable for your data and modify the code to suit your needs.
GitLab
CTR groups can request a page within the Centre for Trophoblast Research GitLab group. GitLab is a code repository that we use for managing and sharing code generated for publications and tools. It's a great way to keep track of your work, and share it with collaborators and journals who may require you to make your code publicly available. Learn how to work with Git.
