CTR director spoke to the Washington Post about growing a mini placenta in the lab and the nature of secretions produced by the placenta. "Even in the 21th century we don't know what's in the placental secretions; we don't know the composition of them which the whole of the future of the human species depends on" explained Graham Burton.
