Centre for Trophoblast Research

 

The CTR 2023 annual meeting will held on July 3-4, 2023 in celebration of our Next Generation Fellows.

Talks will cover a diverse range of topics related to trophoblast biology, placental development, and reproduction. A full programme will be available on this page soon.

Venue

The annual meeting will be held in Newnham College, Cambridge and online. Newnham College was established in 1871 as one of the first women’s colleges, set in stunning gardens and within an easy 5 minute walk to the town centre.  

As in-person spaces are limited, we also welcome delegates to join us for the full academic programme online.

 

Call for posters & flash talks

We are now accepting abstract submissions in any area of placental research. Please register and submit your abstract by 8 May 2023 to have the chance to be selected to present a poster or flash talk. For more information, visit our abstract submission corner

 

Conference dinner and social programme

We will hold a three-course conference dinner on the evening of the Monday, 3rd July at Newnham College, with a drink’s reception prior. The dinner will be held in celebration of the CTR Next Generation Fellows and all conference attendees are welcome to register to attend. The cost for the dinner is £40, payable at registration.

The in-person registration fee includes:

  • Full access to scientific programme: oral and poster presentations, and networking on campus
  • Access to the online conference portal to network with online participants
  • Refreshments during the conference. 

Virtual registration fee includes:

  • Access to the virtual event portal (Log in details will be emailed a few days before the event starts)
  • Live-stream sessions, including online networking channels

Travel visas
